Control connection
Using standard FTP, the client opens a control connection to the HP Jetdirect FTP server. Control connections exchange commands between the client and the FTP server. The HP Jetdirect print server supports up to four simultaneous control connections (or FTP sessions). If the number is exceeded, a service not available message is displayed.
FTP control connections use TCP port 21.
