Method that the HP Jetdirect print server uses for its IP configuration parameters: BOOTP (default), DHCP, Manual, or Auto IP.

BOOTP or DHCP IP parameters are automatically configured by a BOOTP or DHCP server each time the print server is turned on.

Manual Enter IP parameters using this Web page or using other available tools.

Auto IP A unique link-local address 169.254.x.x is assigned.

Manually assign the IP address on the HP Jetdirect print server.

This IP address uniquely identifies a node on a TCP/IP network. Duplicate IP addresses on a TCP/IP network are not allowed.
|
|
|
Manually assign a subnet mask if subnetting is used. A subnet mask is a 32-bit number. When applied to an IP address, the subnet mask determines which bits specify the network and subnet, and which bits uniquely specify the node.
